Introduction

This booklet contains information about your Group Benefits. Please keep it in a safe place. It is intended to summarize the principal features of your plan. All rights to benefits are governed by the Telecommunication Workers Benefit Plan Document (the Plan) which is available for viewing at the Plan Administration Office.

If there is an inconsistency between this booklet and the Plan, the terms of the Plan shall prevail.

Defined terms are capitalized (e.g. Dependent). Pacific Blue Cross (PBC) and British Columbia Life & Casualty Company (BC LIFE) are referred to as “we”,“us”, or “our” in this booklet. We will refer to you, the member as “you” or “your” in this booklet.
